Dear podficcer,

It is once again that time of the year! ITPE is here and it's time to brush off the old letter and tell you what I like. Things haven't changed that much. 

Repods are welcome (especially of stuff I've already podficced) and I'd be very happy if you podficced anything of mine (I am aware how small some of these fandoms are and I doubt more fic will miraculously appear in the meantime).

Fandoms

Jonny Quest (any media, but The Real Adventures and the new Dynamite comics in particular) (Dr Quest/Race, team fic, family shenanigans, adventures, Jonny, Jessie and Hadji in any combination, platonic or romantic, any of Race's or Benton’s past relationships, anything really ...just not the one where Jessie dies of cancer) 

Venom (Eddie/Symbiote, Eddie/Symbiote/Anne/Dan - for the movie, Eddie/Symbiote, Eddie/Symbiote/Flash, Flash/Symbiote, Venom/Spider-Man, Eddie&MJ - for the comics. I am not up to date on the comics, but I know the relevant spoilers and I'm slowly making my way through the whole continuity) 

Marvel's Midnight Suns - I've been playing this game for a week and I am hooked. It's the 2012 Avenger's Tower vibe I was missing, but Venom is there, too (any combination of characters, any ship, but mainly Iron Man/Dr Strange and Venom/anyone, team fic, hurt/comfort, the usual)


The Fall Guy (2024) (all the whump!! Colt Seavers (TV) was my original blorbo and probably the reason I'm into half the stuff I'm into, but especially the whump - I want that man to suffer!)

Sunshine (2007) - whump and hurt/comfort preferred

Kane and Feels (gen fic, case fic, fluff, hurt/comfort, Kane/Feels, Feels/Jenny, KaneHana)

MarsCorp (team fic, gen, anything focused on Hob or David Knight) 

Down (podcast) (any combination of Team Virgil and the Entity is welcome, lots of tentacles and mind fuckary ahoy!) (yes, I already podficced everything in the tag. I don't mind repods!) (huge soft spot for MarionCharley, regardless of punctuation)

The Kingmaker Histories (podcast) (Eisen/Telesphore, the trio being either platonic, or romantic, shenanigans, Ariadne and Ninette - fingers crossed, there's going to be some fun fic to record)

 The first tag I usually check for any new fandom is still the Hurt/Comfort tag - that should tell you what you need. Feel free to smother me in fluff, or whump. However, I generally prefer things to have a happy ending, no matter how dark and painful they get along the way.

Yes: hurt/comfort, fluff, whump, non-sexual kink (especially bondage and D/s), polyamory, team fic, queerplatonic relationships, asexual characters, aromantic characters, non-traditional relationships, explorations of identity, explorations of gender, trans headcannons, lots of fluff, disturbing fluff, mutual dub-con, sex pollen (consensual and enthusiastic use of sex pollen is muchly appreciated, but the garden variety dub-conny kind is also welcome), tentacles, non-human biology, mind games, hypnosis, codependent characters, self-sacrificing idiots, sleep deprived characters who make bad decisions, naps, pining, loyalty, competence, soul bonds, time loops, character study - this is an incomplete and very incoherent list. I like a lot of things.

No: modern AUs for fantasy media, hopeless endings, pure angst, permanent character death (especially from cancer), things done to characters against their consent while they are unconscious, non-con as the main focus, omegaverse, needles being inserted in eyes (eye trauma in general isn't an issue, just very specifically no scenes of needles being inserted in eyes. yes, i am aware of what fandoms i'm in), pregnancy (of any kind) as the focus of the fic, daddy kink, breeding kink, OOC, soulmates, reincarnation
